During my time at Inverarity Morton I was involved in creating a range of materials for their Spirit Event, Evolution. With the success of its first year there was a lot of excitment and anticipation surrounding the event, giving me the opportunity to design a newspaper cover for print and digital newspaper SLTN. The intention behind the ad not only to advertise but to act as a teaser to what was to come without giving anything away. Using eye-catching headlines to draw attention and drum up excitement, each in a different font and size to ensure each stood out in its own way. The strips of paper giving each its own platform and cleverly/partial hiding the familiar branding underneath.
I also created a short glitch animation for the company's social media accounts to further tease and advertise the event, which received overwhelming praise from clients, marketing and executives. The animation also being used throughout advertising for the event and at the event itself.
